Engineers and Poetry-Artistic Skills The Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, organised a seminar under the title: Engineers and Poetry -Artistic Skills, held on November 23rd, 2022, in the Main Building, Hall 201.   This seminar described the relationship between engineering and poetry, the requirements for composing a poem, and the characteristics of a good and effective poem. It also consisted of poetry reading sessions, whereby the two presenters: Professor Dr. Fadhil Ali and Professor. Dr. Hamed M. A Joint Research Project Between TIU and Oregon State University Tishk International University (TIU) in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Oregon State University (OSU), USA, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on a joint scientific project. A training course was arranged between the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering and Clever Scientific Company which is the supplier of 28 laboratory equipment items for three laboratories of the department (Drilling Engineering Laboratory; Reservoir Engineering Laboratory and Mining Engineering Laboratory).
