On Monday, February 24th 2025, the Architectural Design IV staff Mr. Carol, Dr. Sakar, Mrs. Maha, Mr. Nawaz, Ms. Suzan, Ms. Shahd, Ms. Bushra in Architecture Engineering Department organized a field trip to The Boulevard Residential buildings, allowing them to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Students, along with staff members, were transported to the site by bus, ensuring a well-coordinated visit. On Sunday, February 16th 2025, the execution drawing staff Mrs. Wafaa Wasfi, Ms. Shad Ahmad and Ms. Bushra Abdulmajid in architecture engineering department organized a field trip to Pavilion Erbil, sponsored by ROJ ART COMPANY, transporting the 3rd stage students by bus to observe the construction process firsthand. The project was still under construction, showcasing various stages, including interior and exterior finishings, slab work, flooring, skeletal structures, electrical installations, steel structure, piping and stair construction. On Thursday, February 20th, the Architecture Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU), organized a scientific field trip to the Fine Art Institute in Erbil. This educational excursion, supervised by Dr. Salem Mokhtar, Mr. Darbaz Perot, Mr. Shalaw Hamza, Mr. Shad Sherzad, and Mr. Ali Abdullah, focused on familiarizing students with the fine art spaces in each department, providing them with valuable knowledge in exploring each faculty. On 18th of September, 2024 the Architectural Engineering Department at Tishk International University hosted its annual orientation program for first-grade students. The event began with a welcoming speech by the University President, Professor Sultan T. On 30th of November the Qalat Awards highlighted the exceptional contributions of Architecture department, Tishk International University (TIU) in its 2024 competition. The Qalat Awards are an annual architecture competition organized by the Kurdistan Center for Arts and Culture (KCAC). The initiative aims to inspire architects and designers to creatively reimagine and preserve Kurdish architectural heritage. On 29th of September 2024 the department of architecture at Tishk International University organized a farwell gathering for our valuable research assistant Mrs. Hema Hiwa on her leaving to abroad. She is one of the hard working staff, she was always responsible and polite in her duties and she was eager to help her colleagues during the lectures and administrative tasks. The department wishes  success for her new journey in her academic field and carrier.
