Method of Designing a Syllabus
On 14th of February, 2024, the Architectural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) held a seminar for academic staff regarding the method of designing a syllabus. The seminar provided comprehensive guidance on the best practices for drafting course syllabi and the procedures for calculating ECTS credits. It also illuminated strategies to circumvent common pitfalls, such as errors in grade calculation, inaccuracies in articulating course learning outcomes, and other prevalent issues. The seminar, led by Mr. No’man Bayaty, Head of the Departmental Scientific Committee, saw participation from lecturers across both the Architectural Engineering and Interior Design Engineering Departments.
