One of our Architecture Department’s teaching methodologies is ensuring that students put theory explained in class into practice. Hence, architecture students are often taken for field trips to visit areas that help them with their design projects.

On October 20th 2019, third-year architecture students visited the site of their design project, which was located on Gulan Street, besides Ashtar Sweets, to observe the site and its surroundings in order to facilitate their designing process.

The group also visited Gulan towers, to allow the students to observe a similar example, Students were guided by one the architects who designed the project, and along with the lecturers and assistants, all aspects were explained to the students in order to obtain a more comprehensible have view and understanding on every step of the design process. The students acknowledged that the trip was beneficial for their designing process and full of information. They enjoyed this scientific outing with the staff members of the department, and requested that more of these activities to be arranged.
