Photography Class Trip to the Citadel

The Architectural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, organised a scientific trip to Erbil Citadel for fifth-stage students in photography class. Students were required to take pictures according to the principles and concepts taught in photography class while adding architectural touches to the shots.

Students seized this opportunity to use the historical landmark to apply their architectural intuition. Many captured shots were printed and showcased at the annual spring festival. This activity allowed students to experience and capture the city’s architectural identity. It also aimed to help students understand how to take photographs that tell stories in-depth. Visualisation is an essential skill that graduating students are required to practice to improve their presentation techniques.
