Orientation for 1st Stage Students
The Architecture Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) recently held an orientation program for its first-stage students. The event, organized by the department head, Shino Abdullah, and supported by staff members Mrs. Sanar Sardar, Mrs. Shaymaa Jalil, Ms. Jenan Sabah, and Ms. Rwanga Ameer, aimed to familiarize new students with the university’s academic resources.
This orientation covered an overview of the academic facilities, an introduction to the disciplines and courses offered, detailed insights into the curriculum for first-year students, and guidance on navigating the university website, understanding the grading system, and course structures. Additionally, the staff provided tours of the classrooms and working studios, ensuring students are well-acquainted with their new academic environment.
