On Thursday, 14 October 2021, second-grade students who had joined the ‘Free Hand Drawing’ course conducted their session outdoors, in moderate weather and a breezy October day.

Students gathered on campus and chose the educational faculty building to draw perspectives, each according to their own vision and place. Students conducted the drawing activity under the supervision of Mrs. Rawya, Miss. Dalya, and Miss. Shahd.

First, they were introduced to the techniques of drawing proportional perspectives, using a pencil as a ruler to guide the drawing process.

Secondly, the students were required to analyze the masses and determine their relations in size to each other. This task aimed to train the students’ observation skills and gain a better understanding of masses, proportions and scaling. As a result, improving the students’ understanding of scales and buildings was evident in the outcome of their classwork drawings.
