Bauhaus University Summer School Program for 2022 Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between TIU and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, five fourth-stage students, supervised by Prof. Dr Najmadin, participated in the summer school program held in the partner university and organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, TIU. The program officially started on 20th August and will continue over the next two weeks. Through this, students will be introduced to new technologies in the civil engineering field, visit mega structures and constructions, and meet people, professors and engineers from different cultures.

Scientific Trip to Dukan Dam 2022 The Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized a scientific trip for fourth-grade students to Dukan Dam on March 31st, 2022. German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fund In collaboration with the Chair of Advanced Structures at Bauhaus University Weimar, the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) received a grant of 181,064.00 Euros from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The grant corresponds to the framework of the “University partnerships with Iraq 2022-2023” Program, under the project title “Multiscale consequence studies for hazard impact on structures in Iraq”.
