Safety Practice in Boulevard Construction Site
On October 12th, 2022, the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organised a scientific trip to Boulevard Project for fourth-grade students. The aim of the trip was to introduce the students to Safety Practice on-site, at the Boulevard Construction Site. This site visit is one of the prerequisites of the course (Construction Site Management and Safety Control).
The field trip was supervised by Dr. Barham Haidar, Lecturer of the Construction Site Management and Safety Control Course.
During the trip, students were enlightened on the implementation of safety measures on site and how to conduct the daily toolbox. The preparation and presentation of daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports were also explained. The project supervisors provided all the safety measurements required on site to all the participants.
