VISIT TO BAUHAUS UNIVERSITY-WEIMAR
The Head of the Civil Engineering Department Dr. Barham Haidar, journeyed to Bauhaus-Universität Weimar on November 13th, 2022, for seven days within the framework of a grant program for research entitled Multiscale consequence studies for hazard impact on structures in Iraq, funded by the DAAD in coordination with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. During the visit, they discussed how the project progressed and organised a comprehensive plan for the field aspect.
The Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Tishk International University presented a gesture gift to Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Abrahamczyk on behalf of the TIU Presidency. This research project is supervised by Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Abrahamczyk, and will persist for two years; each year, two teaching staff of the Department of Civil Engineering will be hosted for three months by Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Abrahamczyk to escort the research.
