Architectural Design Department (fourth grade students) gathered to go for a scientific trip organized by the university. The trip organised on 25th of October 2018 as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Architectural Design Studio Vl. The 4th year students under the supervision of their lecturers of Architectural Design, Dr. Husein Ali, Dr. Shaimaa Kubaisi and Assistant Miss Wafaa Wasfi, took the students to the Rizgari and Zheen private Hospital in Erbil city. A bus was provided by the university to transport the students.
During the trip the students were led around the hospital to observe the general theme of the hospital, and walked through its departments. They listen to the explanation of the employees inside the hospital and their lecturers. While analyzing several aspects of the design elements, including zoning, circulation, activities and functions.
After this the students were taken to the private Zheen Hospital to see the difference between the Hospitals. It was a fun way to show the practical implementations of the theoretical design that the students would get in the coming semester.
