Tishk International University have joined forces with the University of Emerging Technologies, which is an online university aimed at providing certification courses (micro/nano degrees) and internship programs for its students, and is now offering a variety of courses ranging from Artificial Intelligence, Data Sciences, Mobile Application Development and many other courses at a discounted rate for our university and specifically our department students who are interested in enrolling in their courses. The department of Computer Engineering have signed an agreement with the Wind River University Program which is aimed at providing the faculty and students to use state-of-the-art operating systems platforms, middleware, and development tools to enrich their research efforts and teaching courses to foster advances in embedded technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT). The Department of Computer Engineering, has organized a workshop entitled “5G Implementation Challenges in Kurdistan & Iraq” during the 7th International Engineering Conference (IEC) on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 and was held virtually through 'Run the World' video conferencing platform.
