On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the 4th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science was held at the campus of Tishk International University with the participation of general consulates, parliament members, parents, students, staff and guests. In aims of providing a platform for the Computer Engineering department students to improve and demonstrate their problem solving and programming skills, the department will be hosting the “Blind Coding Challenge” coding competition among its undergraduate students on Thursday, 2nd of May, 2019 The Blind Coding Challenge is an individual and fun challenge which is targeting the students from Computer Engineering and IT department of all grades.Each participant will be given four programming problems of varied difficulties to solve with their monitors turned off, hence the name of the competition, without a compiler and within a limited time frame of 30 [...]

The department of Computer Engineering will be organizing a workshop on MATLAB: Simscape on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 in Tishk International University. Since its inception, MATLAB package has concentrated on simplicity and ease of use in order to make programming and computation processes reachable to science and engineering community and indeed others fields too. The department of Computer Engineering is immensely pleased to announce that the department’s Bachelor degree study program has been internationally accredited by the “Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency Hannover” (ZEvA) Commission without any conditions for the duration of five years. Course Overview The Python training course will introduce fundamental programming concepts including data structures, networked application program interfaces, and databases, continues to small GUI programs. Participants will learn Python data types such as Tuples and Dictionaries, Looping, Functions and I/O handling.
