On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the 4th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science was held at the campus of Tishk International University with the participation of general consulates, parliament members, parents, students, staff and guests.
The festival started at 10:00 AM with the national anthem, followed by the speech of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees. He mentioned the importance of such social and cultural activities as TIU has always stressed on coexistence and gathering different culture and languages.
The Department of Computer Engineering participated and competed with one of the scientific stands among 21 different academic departments. The participating students and staff filled their stand with a variety of interesting and beneficial hardware and software projects and games along with informative posters about the department’s activities, courses and the latest emerging technologies in the field which attracted guests from different scientific backgrounds, the students presented their visitors with a thorough introduction about their projects along with simple chocolate gifts to game winners which created a competitive and enjoyable atmosphere between the students and the visitors.
The department extends its gratitude to all participating students and staff for their incredible efforts during the festival.
