Civil Engineers’ Wall

On 13th of February Civil engineering dept. organized a scientific trip to Taq Taq Arch Action Bridge which is made of concrete, third year students were targeted in this trip. Supervision was held by Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Azez lecturer of structural analysis course. The main purpose of the trip to show the practical part of the structure analysis course. Civil Engineering first grade students visited four story hospital construction with lecturer Cemil Akdeniz and Mariwan Hussain. The project is constructed by RAQ Construction and Building Maintenance Company. The construction costs 18 million dollars with medical equipment. Student seminars on civil engineering issues have been conducted to provide an environment where participation is encouraged, group learning takes place in the class, to keep the students updated with the technologies, and to improve their knowledge which cannot be from textbooks alone. Q.Editor

Tishk International University’s Academic and ZEvA Agency’s Delegate held a seminar concerning the international accreditation issues at 18.30 on October 04, 2016. The interest in the program was so high. The Erbil Governor, the representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the other Ministries, Presidents of the KRG Universities, Deans of Colleges, Heads of Departments, Lecturers, and Academics were ready.
