1st Year Students Orientation Program
The Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) arranged an orientation program for the new students on December 19th, 2023. The lecturers warmly welcomed the newcomers, making them feel at home. They talked about what studying civil engineering is all about and shared stories about amazing projects civil engineers work on.
During the orientation program, the first-year students discovered all the fantastic things they’ll be doing while studying civil engineering. They toured the campus, checking out the labs and classrooms where they’ll spend their time learning and experimenting. The lecturers explained how they’ll support the students in their studies and encouraged them to dream big. Everyone had a chance to ask questions and talk about their hopes and plans for the future. It was a day filled with excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead, making the new students feel welcomed and ready to dive into the world of civil engineering at TIU.
