TIU Graduate Recognized in Majaz Competition

The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to congratulate Basma Yasir, a Tishk International University graduate, for her participation and recognition in the first edition of the Majaz Competition for Architecture Engineering Departments, held at Tishk International University on December 3, 2025. Her project was recognized among the top 20 entries. The project focuses on the redevelopment of Hosh Al-Baieaa and Suq Al-Shaareen, a historic area in Mosul that contains a seventh-century church and sustained significant damage during the ISIS occupation from 2014 to 2017.
