During June 2026, a group of students from the Architecture Engineering Department at Tishk International University, under the supervision of Mr. Omar Azad, implemented the “Freedom for Wildlife” initiative as part of their community engagement activities.

The project was carried out by Yarsa Hemn Rashid, Dadyar Shaxawan, Henar Bakr Omer, Roj Dyar, Muhammad Emad, and Ahmad Aras with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging the protection of wildlife and natural habitats. Through the initiative, students sought to educate community members about the importance of biodiversity and the role individuals can play in preserving ecosystems.

To support their efforts, the team participated in the Food Fundraising Event held on Monday, 11 May 2026, at Tishk International University. By preparing and selling food items, the students raised funds that contributed to awareness activities and outreach initiatives focused on environmental conservation.

In addition to fundraising, the group actively promoted messages related to wildlife protection and sustainable practices, encouraging greater public appreciation for nature and environmental responsibility. The project provided students with an opportunity to apply teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while addressing an important environmental issue.

Tishk International University commends the students for their dedication to environmental awareness and their efforts to promote wildlife conservation within the community.
