On the 3rd of December, 2018, the department of Computer Engineering organized a workshop on “The Role of IEEE in Holding International Scientific Sponsored Conferences” at Tishk International University’s main campus. This workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Sattar B. Sadkhan, faculty member in the University of Babylon, IT department and the creator and representative of IEEE – Iraq section, founded in 2008. The workshop discussed the importance and the procedures of holding conferences sponsored by IEEE and uploading the best of the accepted papers (within a specified threshold) to the IEEE Digital Explore Library as well as using Scopus citation. On Saturday, November 10th,2018, Tishk International University’s alumni office in collaboration with Computer Engineering department hosted a reunion lunch for the class of 2017 in Tishk International University. The class came together with great anticipation of meeting their friends and renewing their ties with the university and the department staff. The department of Computer Engineering will be holding a workshop on Research Methodology on November 29, 2018 by Dr. Mohammed Mumtaz. This workshop will provide 4th grade students with a complete guidance for BSc final project. We would like to inform you that Dean of Students will organize its annual Club introductory and registration day, tomorrow 23rd of October, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM in front of Tishk International University's main building. There will be live performances by the talented club members. Department of Computer Engineering will be organizing a workshop for students of Fourth grade and staff members, this workshop which will be given by Mrs. Ghada Alsakkal, is intended to help solidify the calculus foundation of its attendees and go more in depth on Laplace transform. The Department of Computer Engineering will be organizing a three day hands-on workshop on Arduino open-source electronic platform which is used for building electronics and robotics projects. consisting of both a programmable circuit board and a piece of software, or IDE, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board. Hash Code is a team programming competition organized by Google. You pick your team and programming language, we pick a Google engineering problem for you to solve. Are you up for the challenge?
