(Class of 2024–2025), who has transitioned from our design studios to the bustling construction grounds of Erbil. On 30 April 2026, the second stage students of Tishk International University organized a social trip with the participation of Ms. Wafa Wasfi, Ms. Lin, and Mr. Dyako, who accompanied the students during the event. The trip provided students with an opportunity to strengthen friendships, enhance communication, and enjoy a refreshing experience beyond the classroom environment. Various social activities were held throughout the day, creating memorable moments and reflecting the university’s dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging student community.

Food fundraiser event to support humanitarian and social causes

On Monday, 11 May 2026, first-stage design students Architecture department at Tishk International University organized a fundraising event on campus to support different humanitarian and social causes. The students prepared and sold variety of food items as part of the initiative, while research assistants, Miss rwanga and Mr shakar from the Architecture department helped supervise and support the activities throughout the event. The fundraiser encouraged teamwork, student engagement, and social responsibility, creating a positive atmosphere of cooperation and community support within the university.

Architecture Department Partners with KAPO for Stray Dog Welfare

Community-Focused Animal Welfare Initiative On January 13th, the Architecture Department at Tishk International University launched a significant social community project in collaboration with KAPO (Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization). This initiative brings together university representatives and animal welfare experts to implement a humane and ethical approach to managing stray dogs around the university campus through a structured Catch-Neuter-Release (CNR) program. A Friendly Match On February 22nd, 2024, at the university stadium, students and faculty from the Architecture Engineering Department, and Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) participated in a friendly football match. It was an opportunity for individuals from both departments to unwind and enjoy themselves. The primary objective was to enjoy the game and establish friendships, despite the fact that it was competitive. Ultimately, both teams demonstrated mutual respect, underscoring the significance of unity and sportsmanship within the university community. Visit Your Future A four-day "Visit Your Future" event was held at Tishk International University from February 19th to 22nd, 2024. The objective of the event was to introduce the academic departments and clubs of the university to grade 12 students from regional high schools. The Dean of Students organised this event, which was attended by nearly 1,500 students from 30 schools. Lunch for 3rd Stage Students On February 20th, 2024, the Architecture Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU), arranged a lunch for the third stage students. The event was attended by roughly 55 students and six staff members, who contributed to the convivial atmosphere by providing delicious food and companionship. By creating a social and enjoyable atmosphere with students outside of the classroom, everyone was able to strengthen their social connections, thereby enriching the learning experience by fostering stronger ties within the department.
