Social Community Projects and Clubs Introduction On October 9th, Tishk International University held social community projects and clubs introduction for the students. The aim was to introduce the students and staff to the clubs and social community projects managed and implemented by each department at the university. AWARD CEREMONY FOR TIU MAIN GATE DESIGN COMPETITION Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering Faculty, Architecture Department hosted the TIU Main Gate Design Competition. This competition was held under the supervision of Dr. Faith Cura, Vice President, and the Architecture Department. This competition was announced in June 2022 and lasted until October 2022 with 11 participants. Three participants are Research Assistants from the Architectural Engineering Department, and eight are students and graduates. Solar Architecture Seminar On November 2nd, 2022, the Architectural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, organised an internal seminar titled: Solar Architecture, presented by Mr. Nawaz Dabbagh. The seminar discussed various solar architecture approaches and how the different types work together. The seminar introduced a case study that explained how solar energy was used and implemented in the building and discussed how it provides a new lifestyle that can be economically and environmentally beneficial in the long run.

Breakfast for 2nd Stage Students On October 24th, 2022, the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organised a breakfast outing for second-stage students under the supervision of Dr. Serdar Dayan, DOS Representative of Faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Asma Abdulmajeed, DOS Representative of the Architectural Engineering Department.
