Students enjoyed a great field trip to Qarachuq On Thursday 11th November 2021, the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering at Tishk International University organized a field trip to Qarachuq Cement Plant (owned by KAR Group), for third-grade students. Academic Advising On October 17th, 2021, Dr. Fadhil Ali, Head of Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Hamed Jassim, Professor at Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department, held an academic advising session for fourth-grade students. Dr. Fadhil advised students on the rules and regulations of the university and discussed the duties and responsibilities of the students as senior students. Dr. Hamed explained the online platforms of the university (PIS/SIS, lecture notes, and university website), petition forms, study guides, methods to contact students’ academic advisors, and graduation projects.
