Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PAME) students of Tishk International University/ Faculty of Engineering announced a fundraising campaign for laborers and workers on April 12th, 2021. The campaign was supervised by 3rd-grade PAME students, Evin Ghazi Harris and Fatah Mohammed Fatah. Several first-grade students also contributed to the event and helped organize the campaign (names mentioned below). A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was previously signed between Tishk International University TIU and Entrac Petroleum Ltd EPL: a well-known consultancy and petroleum training provider based in London. According to the MOU signed, the first training session entitled “IWCF and IADC/Well Control” took place at the premises of Tishk International University, on 25th April 2021 and was completed successfully. The workshop dealt with the measurement of formation parameters in real-time during drilling the borehole. The objective of the workshop was to cover both the engineering and geological aspects of logging while drilling.
