International Workshop Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department is going to arrange an international workshop titled “Application of reservoir management and production forecasting tools using IHS Harmony Software”. This workshop will focus on the theories and practical applications of Rate Transient Analysis, Decline Curve Analysis, Type Curve Methods for optimizing oil and gas production and enhancing reservoir management. Social Community Project: Laborer Fundraising Campaign

Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PAME) students of Tishk International University/ Faculty of Engineering announced a fundraising campaign for laborers and workers on April 12th, 2021. The campaign was supervised by 3rd-grade PAME students, Evin Ghazi Harris and Fatah Mohammed Fatah. Several first-grade students also contributed to the event and helped organize the campaign (names mentioned below). A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was previously signed between Tishk International University TIU and Entrac Petroleum Ltd EPL: a well-known consultancy and petroleum training provider based in London. According to the MOU signed, the first training session entitled “IWCF and IADC/Well Control” took place at the premises of Tishk International University, on 25th April 2021 and was completed successfully.
