On December 23, 2025, the Computer Engineering Department organized a scientific field trip to Optimal Source Company in Erbil for students enrolled in the Advanced Web Programming course. The trip was led by Mr. Rebin Mohammed and Mr. Aland Ameer with the visit hosted by Mr. Star Dawood from Optimal Source Company.

Optimal Source Company is a technology firm specializing in custom software development, web and mobile application development, and comprehensive IT solutions. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to a professional software development environment and to connect academic concepts with real world applications.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s mission of transforming innovative ideas into practical digital products. The host explained the company’s core services, including scalable technology solutions, user centered design approaches, and ongoing software support. Students also learned about the company’s development workflow and how it delivers reliable and customized solutions to meet client needs.
