The department of Computer Engineering hosted an outdoor BBQ party for its 2nd grade students on Saturday, 12/3/2022 in Tishk International University’s campus.
The students gathered around at 12:00 PM in the spacious garden between the main building and the education building with great anticipation for the event being a fantastic opportunity for them to celebrate Newroz festivities and the coming of spring as well as having a chance to relax from a busy semester and to foster greater friendships with their classmates.
The students were involved in the entire BBQ preparations process where they set the tables, built the fire, skewered and grilled the meat and chicken, made the salad, and prepared the burger buns.
More than 25 students and staff attended the event and both the teaching staff and the students had a very enjoyable day eating, listening to music, and playing board games.
