International Research Participation
For the second consecutive year, a student from the Computer Engineering Department at Tishk International University represented the institution at the prestigious Informatik Festival 2025 in Potsdam, Germany, held from September 16-19, 2025. The conference, organized by the German Informatics Society (GI), features Scopus-indexed publications and international academic recognition.
Student Achievement
Aland Ameer Qader, along with co-authors Dina Allan and Chopi Sami, participated in the Digitalization of Cultural Heritage Workshop. Aland presented his research paper titled “Photogrammetric Modeling and Evaluation for the Documentation of Cultural Heritage in the Erbil Citadel.”
Additional Research Contribution
A second paper was presented during the conference co-authored by Dina Allan, Chopi Sami, and Sana Abdulrahman titled “Applying Photogrammetric Methods to Digitalize Key Elements of the Erbil Citadel.”
