Less formal than a class lecture, a seminar allows for small groups to meet and discuss academic topics or required reading, as well as set goals for research and continuing investigation.
The following seminar was conducted on Tuesday 11-06-2023 at 11:30 AM by Dr. Bestoon Mustafa, Lecturer, Department of Computer Engineering Computer
Synopsis [Abstract) about the seminar:
This seminar explores the impact of static magnetic fields on blood cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. We use both in vivo (animal models) and in vitro (lab-based) methods to study these effects. Findings show that magnetic fields can change cell shape and function, offering potential for new therapies but also raising safety concerns. The presentation will cover experimental methods, key results, and future research directions.
