Nanakali Hospital Community Project

Nanakali Community Project by the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU), addresses the critical issue of staff shortages at Nanakali Hospital, providing a monthly salary for three nurses. This ensures the hospital has the vital personnel it needs to deliver the best possible care to its young patients. However, their commitment goes beyond financial support. This year, the department went a step further by preparing Eid boxes for patients in need at Nanakali Hospital. Students gathered on Sunday, March 31st, at the university to assemble these care packages, which were then delivered with assistance from Mohammed Mohammed Naji, a fourth-year student, who delivered them directly to the hospital on April 2nd, ensuring patients could celebrate Eid with essential supplies.

This initiative highlights the department’s dedication to the Erbil community. Their efforts not only support Nanakali Hospital but also bring a touch of comfort and joy to patients during a special time of year.
