VISIT TO BAUHAUS UNIVERSITY-WEIMAR The Head of the Civil Engineering Department Dr. Barham Haidar, journeyed to Bauhaus-Universität Weimar on November 13th, 2022, for seven days within the framework of a grant program for research entitled Multiscale consequence studies for hazard impact on structures in Iraq, funded by the DAAD in coordination with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Bauhaus University Summer School Program for 2022 Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between TIU and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, five fourth-stage students, supervised by Prof. Dr Najmadin, participated in the summer school program held in the partner university and organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, TIU. The program officially started on 20th August and will continue over the next two weeks. Through this, students will be introduced to new technologies in the civil engineering field, visit mega structures and constructions, and meet people, professors and engineers from different cultures.
