Summer School in Germany 2022
Within the frame of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University within the frame of memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar organized summer school projects that will be hosted by the partner university in Germany for third-grade students.
The projects include:
- Numerical simulation of 3D-scanned structures
- Simplified non-linear analysis of unreinforced masonry walls with irregular opening layouts
- Use of polymer-modified concretes (PCC) for innovative refurbishment solutions
- Reliability-based design optimization in civil engineering
- Structural dynamics and system identification
The followings are eligibility criteria documents that shall be provided:
- Only the first quarter (ranked by GPA) of third-grade students can apply for this opportunity.
- Application letter (template available on the website)
- Curriculum Vitae (max. two pages)
- English language certificate | at least level B1 or comparable (Not a must)
- Letter of motivation (Why did you choose this course? – max. 500 words)
- Abstract: with respect to current personal scientific activity – max. 1000 words (template available on the website)
