On Wednesday, April the 5th, at 15:30, the Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr. Halit Vural, the Head of Architecture Department, Ms. Soma A. Kareem, the Head of Civil Engineering Department, Mr. Barham Haidar Ali, the Head of Interior Design Department, Mr. Haval Sami, the Head of Computer Engineering Department, Mr. Safwan Mawlood, and the Head of Information Technology Department, Mr. Savriddin Khalil gathered along with the academics of the engineering faculty to celebrate the success of the IEC 2017 and to recognize the efforts of the Technical Committee that made the conference as successful as it was.
The celebration took place in the congregation area in the second floor of the main building within the campus of Tishk International University. Desserts and sweets were served to the academics and the heads of departments cut the cake of IEC 2017 to celebrate its success as Dr. Halit Vural gave a thanking speech to the technical committee and the staff that took part in the event.
As the academics were sharing talks and laughs at the end of a long day, Dr. Vural decided to call out the members of the technical committee of IEC 2017 and personally hand them certificates of appreciation for the hard work they have put in to make the third International Engineering Conference come out the way it did and without their management and organization it wouldn’t have been what it was.
At 16:30, after everybody’s effort was recognized by the faculty, the academics gathered for a big photo to mark the end of the celebration and save the gathering a memory to remember.
