On December 22, 2016 the academic staff gave an introduction seminar to the first year student of the Architecture Department. The seminar was meant to give the students an overview of Architecture and how the Tishk International University system works, in order to provide students the necessary knowledge.
Furthermore the future architects received a motivating welcome speech by Dr. Halit Vural, Dean of Engineering and Mrs. Soma Kareem, Head of Architecture Department.
Following this, Hassan Wshyar, student representative for architecture department and Harez, first year students’ representative introduced themself to the first year students. Allowing them to get know their first point of contact for their concerns. Additionally Noor Khalis, fourth grade architecture student, talked about her experience with architecture and how it influenced her artistic skills.
Lastly Mr. Sarhang Othman, from the Dean of Students office and Career Center, introduced the students to the different Social Clubs & activities and the Tishk International Career Center.
