On March 26th, 2024, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) continued its longstanding partnership with the Hiwa Institute for Deaf and Mute as part of its fourth-year social community project. This time, the project focused on providing sweatshirts and clothes for all the children students of the institute.

In collaboration with the DIDAR organization, generously sponsored by the “QU” organization, a Qatarian entity, TIU orchestrated the procurement and distribution of clothing for the institute’s students. This initiative underscores the department’s commitment to supporting the local community and fostering inclusivity.

Supervised by dedicated staff members, Mr. Omar Azad and Ms. Shayma Hamza, along with volunteer students, the project was meticulously organized and executed. From selecting the garments to arranging distribution logistics, every aspect of the activity was carefully coordinated to ensure its success.

The culmination of the project involved distributing the clothes to the children students of the Hiwa Institute, providing them with essential clothing items and fostering a sense of care and support within the community.

TIU remains steadfast in its dedication to social responsibility and looks forward to further collaborations that positively impact the lives of those in need.
