On February 27, 2025, the Drilling Fluid Competition was successfully held at Tishk International University (TIU). The event was a collaborative effort by the TIU Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Student Chapter, the SPE Northern Iraq Section, and Pulsar Petroleum Company.
