On December 9, 2024, the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Tishk International University organized a geological field trip for second-grade students. The excursion took place along the road from Erbil to Shaqlawa, focusing on exposing students to the geological structures along the route. On November 6 and 7, 2024, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU), in cooperation with the Dean of Students, organized meal gatherings for the department’s students. The gatherings were arranged for third-grade students on the 6th of November and second-grade students on the 7th of November.
