Scientific Trip to Shaqlawa Province On Wednesday, 8th of May, 2023, the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized a scientific trip for the department’s sophomore-year students to Shaqlawa Area. Academic Advising On October 17th, 2021, Dr. Fadhil Ali, Head of Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Hamed Jassim, Professor at Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department, held an academic advising session for fourth-grade students. Dr. Fadhil advised students on the rules and regulations of the university and discussed the duties and responsibilities of the students as senior students. Dr. Hamed explained the online platforms of the university (PIS/SIS, lecture notes, and university website), petition forms, study guides, methods to contact students’ academic advisors, and graduation projects.
