On September 11, 2024, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU), in collaboration with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Northern Iraq Section and Pulsar Petroleum Company, hosted a comprehensive training course titled “Kurdistan Geology and Drilling Problems in Kurdistan Wells.” The course provided in-depth knowledge on the geology of the Kurdistan region and the common drilling challenges encountered in the area. Clever Scientific Training Course

A training course was arranged between the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering and Clever Scientific Company which is the supplier of 28 laboratory equipment items for three laboratories of the department (Drilling Engineering Laboratory; Reservoir Engineering Laboratory and Mining Engineering Laboratory).
