On 19 October 2025, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department (PAME) at Tishk International University organized a warm and engaging Welcome Back Ceremony to mark the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The event opened with a speech by the Head of Department, who highlighted the department’s remarkable achievements, recent advancements, and strong academic rankings. His message aimed to inspire students and motivate them for the new academic year.
Following this, the Department Coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Ariwan, addressed the students, discussing the importance of class representatives and outlining their responsibilities for the upcoming year.
As part of the ceremony, the top-performing students in each grade were recognized and awarded appreciation certificates in acknowledgment of their academic excellence.
The event concluded with a friendly gathering where snacks were served, giving students and lecturers the opportunity to socialize in a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
This ceremony brought together all students and academic staff of the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
