PAME DoS Gathering Dinner Dormitory
Tishk International University’s Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department has been working closely with the Deanery of Students to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for its students. Over the course of the academic year 2022-2023, Mr. Omar Azad and Mr. Ibrahim Fatih, Research Assistants in PAME, have played an instrumental role in organizing two successful events.
Both events were dinner gatherings held in the dormitory of the university. The first event took place on October 17th, 2022, and was attended by students from different departments in grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The focus of the event was to address the academic challenges students faced, and Mr. Azad and Mr. Fatih led an engaging conversation that provided valuable insights and advice to help students overcome their obstacles.
The second event took place on February 21st, 2023, and was another resounding success. Students and research assistants from various departments came together to create a relaxed and welcoming environment. The purpose of the gathering was to provide students with an opportunity to connect with their teachers and share their experiences.
The success of both events can be attributed to the collaboration between the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department and the Deanery of Students. Their partnership ensured that the events were well-organized, and that the students were able to participate fully in the discussions and activities. The events were an embodiment of the department’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. They provided students with an opportunity to seek guidance and support and helped foster a positive and supportive academic environment.
