National Workshop: Mawlid Al-Nabawi Month and Islamic Ethics
In collaboration with the Deanery of Students, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a National Workshop titled: Mawlid Al-Nabawi Month and Islamic Ethics, held on the 5th of October 2023. The event brought together esteemed speakers, scholars, and students to explore various facets of Islamic teachings and cultural expressions.
Session 1: “Jurisprudence of Money in Islam” – “فیقهی پارە لە ئیسلامدا”
Presented by Sheikh Azad Khorsheed Faqi, Administrator of the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kirkuk.

Session 2: “Environmental Pollution from an Islamic Perspective (Beat Plastic Pollution)”
Presented by Dr. Abdulrahman Doski, a versatile researcher in fields such as economy, environmental protection, and tourism.

Session 3: Poem – “The Birth of Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H)”
Presented by Professor Dr. Hamed M. Jassim, a distinguished lecturer in our department.
Language: Arabic
The workshop was attended by university staff, students, and guests from outside the university. The diverse audience contributed to the vibrant discussions and cultural exchange that unfolded throughout the event.
