MAD Institute’s Petroleum Students Visit TIU’s Campus
On December 6th, 2023, Tishk International University welcomed students from MAD Institute’s Petroleum Department. The visit commenced with a comprehensive introduction to our university, highlighting our commitment to academic excellence. Dr. Fadil Ali, the esteemed head of the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department, delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting the tone for an enriching day ahead.
Ms. Sheyma Hamza and Mr. Omar Azad, took the stage to provide an in-depth overview of our department’s academic offerings, research initiatives, and the vibrant learning environment we cultivate. The students were then guided through a tour of our campus, gaining insights into the various facets of university life.
A highlight of the visit was the exploration of TIU’s modern laboratories, where the students had hands-on experiences in the Drilling Engineering Laboratory, Reservoir Engineering Laboratory, Mining Engineering Laboratory, Petroleum Fluids Properties Laboratory, Thermodynamics Laboratory, and Fluid Mechanics Laboratory. The interactive sessions in these state-of-the-art facilities allowed for a practical understanding of the subjects they study.
The warmth of their welcome was reciprocated with genuine appreciation from the visiting students. Their expressions of interest in potentially continuing their academic journey at the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department in the future served as a testament to the positive impact of this exchange.
