On Thursday 26.03.2026 at 10:00 AM, the Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department at Tishk International University conducted one of its internal seminars as part of the department’s internal seminar series. Mr. Mohammed Ariwan Jamal delivered the session, which focused on improving academic communication and student learning through Microsoft tools.
This internal seminar at TIU introduced practical methods for using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams in academic settings. The presenter explained how staff can use official university email for communication and how Microsoft Teams supports class organization and online teaching. As a result, participants gained a clearer understanding of how digital platforms enhance teaching efficiency.
During the seminar, Mr. Jamal demonstrated how to schedule and conduct online lectures, manage assignments, and share announcements effectively.
