On 12 December 2019, a field trip was organized for 3rd. grade students of the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering to Qarachuq Cement Plant, KRG, Iraq near Makhmur Town, Some 60 Km West of Erbil City. All sections and different facilities of the cement factory were visited and some explanations were given by Engineer Adham from the cement plant. 22 students participated in the field trip and the students were accompanied by Professor, Dr. Hamed M.
