A training course was arranged between the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering and Clever Scientific Company which is the supplier of 28 laboratory equipment items for three laboratories of the department (Drilling Engineering Laboratory; Reservoir Engineering Laboratory and Mining Engineering Laboratory). The training course was conducted from the period 31st of May 2022 till the 7th of June 2022. The training course covered the installation, operation and conducting of laboratory testing procedures on the newly-supplied equipment which consist of five items for the Drilling Engineering Laboratory and nine items for the Reservoir Engineering Laboratory and fourteen items for the Mining Engineering Laboratory. The training course continued for six days at a rate of five hours every day. The participants in this training course included the teaching staff and the research assistants at the department of petroleum & mining engineering in addition to other staff from other departments who joined the training course.
The training course took place at the Drilling Engineering Laboratory and the Mining Engineering Laboratory in the Laboratory Building of Tishk International University TIU.
