“Arduino: Fundamentals and Coding” is an international online engineering workshop (Online) organized by the Mechatronics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tishk International University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The theme of the workshop is Arduino micro-controllers, which are very widely used for small projects and quite popular with students for their availability and low price. The majority of the final year projects (FYP’s) are Arduino-based. This workshop will help the students and give them a head start in terms of writing effective sketches (programs) that will solve the practical problems they could encounter. The workshop concentrates on the Arduino Uno as they are available at the Electronics laboratories. The course includes the handling of different sensors as well as motors and actuators that are usually used in conjunction with microcontrollers and Arduinos applications.
