Vision

To work on creating a program that can match internationally other high-rank universities in our own field, implement the competitive initiative, that allows the department to adapt quickly to technological changes and challenges, in order to graduate students who are fully conversant in the latest mechatronics techniques that
is available.

Mission

To work on creating a program that can match internationally other high-rank universities in our own field, implement competitive initiatives that allow the department to adapt quickly to technological changes and challenges, in order to graduate students who are fully conversant in the latest mechatronics techniques that are available. The mission of the department is to graduate engineers that can engage in lifelong learning and conduct work to high ethical standards, and be fundamentally ready to embrace their engineering and science knowledge to produce solutions to the problems they encounter during their work and be creative members of the society.

The primary mission of the Mechatronics Engineering Department can be concluded in the following points:

  • Employ instructors and Laboratory assistants that can advance the teaching process by conveying their expertise and experience to the classroom.
  • Set up a dynamic curriculum that can grow to cover the new technologies that are continually emerging in the field of mechatronics engineering.
  • Encourage the students to participate in the learning process by using inverted classrooms and mini-projects.
  • Encourage team work among the students by involving them in group tasks.
  • Provide rich laboratory environment that is pertinent to the theoretical subjects covered by the curriculum.

The Mechatronics Engineering Department is committed to continuous learning and provides workshops and short courses, for our graduates and other engineers in society, to alleviate this and help to keep pace with this ever-growing field, mechatronics.
