The Mechatronics Department organized a trip to help students gain a better understanding in advance manufacturing technologies and product development. The scientific trip allowed the participants to analyze the use of 3D printers and design prototype models in several engineering fields. The information gathered will assist students with their existing projects related to mechatronics, robotics, automation...etc.

The Mechatronics Department organized a scientific trip to the CNC laboratories and workshops of Salahaddin University that included, casting, welding, conventional milling machine, conventional lathe machine, and CNC Labs. The visit, held on the 23rd of December, was arranged for the third and fourth-grade students and supervised by Ms. Sara Serwer, Mr. Ahmed Ameer, and Mr. Qusay Awwad. Research assistants of the department also helped organize the trip and guide the students.
