The Mechatronics Department organized a scientific trip to the CNC laboratories and workshops of Salahaddin University that included, casting, welding, conventional milling machine, conventional lathe machine, and CNC Labs. The visit, held on the 23rd of December, was arranged for the third and fourth-grade students and supervised by Ms. Sara Serwer, Mr. Ahmed Ameer, and Mr. Qusay Awwad. Research assistants of the department also helped organize the trip and guide the students. The main purpose of this field trip was to gain practical knowledge and allow students to see the equipment and obtain information on how they work. The visit also aimed to provide the students with experience of working in groups and understand the operations of CNC laboratories and workshops.
