2nd Stage Students Lunch On December 2oth, 2023, the Interior Design Department, Faculty Of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a lunch for second-stage students, under the supervision of Mrs. Rawaz Najmadin , Assist Lecturer, and Research Assistants, Ms. Sara Mahmood, Mrs. Sawen Ahmed, and Ms. Snoor Abbas. The students had a great time with staff members outside the classroom and learning environment.
Welcoming Ceremony for New Staff Members On November 2nd, 2023, the Department of Interior Design, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a welcoming party for the new staff, under the supervision of Mrs. Rawaz Najmadin and Ms. Sara Mahmood, and the participation of DOS Representatives Committee of the Interior Design Department and the staff. Alumni Invitation In collaboration with the Dean of Students, the Department of Interior Design Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) organized an alumni's gathering for graduates of the department, held on October 10th, 2023. On December 20th, 2022, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized a lunch for its staff in appreciation of their hard work and dedication. The gathering was attended by the Head of the Department, Mr. Dlman Azeez with all full-time and part-time lecturers and assistants. Food Fundraising for Mercy Corner On December 18th, 2022, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged a food fundraising event in which all faculty staff members and students participated. The Interior Design Department also contributed to the event, to support and promote the #Mercy Corner 2022 Project. The Dean of Students organises food fundraising projects each year, in which both students and staff prepare and sell all types of food, desserts, drinks, and more. A Field Trip to Boulevard Construction Site On October 26th, 2022, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, organised a scientific trip for second-stage students to the Boulevard Residential Compound. A Seminar by Dr. Hassan Hassoon on Sustainability in Built Environment On January 17th, 2022 a seminar was presented by Dr. Hassan Hassoon, Lecturer at Interior Design Department, Tishk International University. The seminar, attended by TIU staff, explained how cities are reaching a crucial state as they become larger, resulting in population growth and traffic congestion. Discussions on the current state of the cities and potential solutions for the environment were also held in the seminar.
